Introduction Introduction

The assets held by Eolia Renovables cover electricity generation farms that use renewable sources – wind power, primarily, but also photovoltaic solar – both in Spain and in other countries of the European Union as well as in Mexico and Canada.

The company currently has a balanced portfolio of wind and solar assets amounting to 1,390 MW which gives great visibility on its future growth.

At present, Eolia Renovables has 17 wind farms in operation with a total accumulated power of 427 MW distributed among Spain, Germany, France and Poland and six wind farms under construction with an additional capacity of 152 MW.

In addition, Eolia Renovables has 7 solar photovoltaic plants in operation with an accumulated attributable power of 54 MW. All the company's solar portfolio is subject to previous economic regime set out in RD 661/2007.

Moreover, the company has secured the current tariff provided for in RD 661/2007 for a portfolio of 309 MW in Spain by its registration in the Pre-assignment registry. This portfolio will be commissioned on a staggered basis over the period of 2010-2012.

Finally, note that Eolia Renovables has a portfolio of 449 MW in different stages of development distributed between Mexico (72% of the attributable portfolio), France (17%), Spain (8%) and Canada (3%).

The Mexican pipeline encompasses two wind farms, Eoliatec del Istmo and Eoliatec del Pacífico, with a combined capacity of 324 MW, which have secured all the permits and authorisations required for construction to begin. The grid connection infrastructure will be completed over the course of 2010.
